Closes: 1 October 2025
Pro Helvetia supports the dissemination of contemporary artists and cultural practitioners from Switzerland, as well as cultural exchange within the country and abroad. Institutions outside Switzerland are invited to apply for support for projects at the intersection of art and digital technologies. Eligible proposals are asked to have a strong track record, competence with international partners, and sensibility for transdisciplinary processes.
Selection Criteria
Projects are selected based on their ability to foster knowledge-exchange and matchmaking in a meaningful and sustainable way. Proposals should have a clear impact on the artistic scene in Switzerland and abroad, and are encouraged to involve artists eligible for support from Pro Helvetia. A significant part of the project must be open to the public (public events, participatory workshops, online presence, open access tool kit). Projects may run for up to 18 months and will be assessed on equity within the collaboration and mutual impact among partners.
Financial Contribution
The grant ranges from CHF 30,000 to CHF 100,000 and may cover the conceptualisation, creation and implementation of the project. This may include appropriate fees for artists and facilitators, as well as travel and material costs. Pro Helvetia’s contribution may not exceed 50% of the total budget, and infrastructural or operational costs of the organisations are not supported.
Applications are open until October 1st 2025, 23:59 (CEST).
